Poetry where quiet moments become powerful stories

Where did Thoughts Taken Captive come from?

2 Corinthians 10:5

“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient.”

Philippians 4:7

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

1 Chronicles 28:9

“And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.”

Psalm 40:5

“Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell you your deeds, they would be too many to declare.”
